Elias Holmelund

Elias Holmelund is a law student (stud.jur.) on the Master's programme in law and works at HAY LAW primarily with tax law matters and assistance in connection with tax cases.

Elias previously worked in the Danish Tax Agency's legal department within Individuals and International, where he gained practical experience with tax law matters and the authorities' handling of tax cases.

In addition, Elias has been attached to the tax department at TVC Advokatfirma, where he worked on legal questions within tax law and assisted in the handling of concrete tax cases.

The combination of experience from both the Danish Tax Agency and the legal profession gives Elias a valuable understanding of how tax cases are handled from both the authority's and the taxpayer's perspective.

At HAY LAW, Elias assists the attorneys with legal research, review of extensive case material, drafting of legal memoranda and preparation of tax and court cases. He works in a structured and thorough manner with focus on the factual circumstances of the case, the relevant tax regulation and the documentation that may affect the outcome of the case.
