Founder of HAY LAW, advising and representing individuals and businesses in complex tax, criminal and court proceedings.
HAY LAW is a specialist law firm focused on tax cases, litigation and criminal law.
Our tax lawyers have worked with tax and duties law for many years, including experience as partners from major law firms. That gives us a solid professional foundation and considerable experience with complex tax cases.
We advise and represent both private individuals and businesses throughout Denmark. What is common to our work is a thorough and strategic approach focused on safeguarding the client's interests as best as possible from the first inquiry until the case is concluded.
Tax is one of our core areas.
Our lawyers have worked with tax and duties law for many years, including experience as partners from major law firms. We assist in complex tax cases from the first notice from the tax authority through appeal and litigation.
Experience from the prosecution makes a difference.
Our tax criminal law lawyers have experience from the prosecution service. That gives us an intimate knowledge of the criminal process, investigation and assessment of evidence. We can therefore think the tax case and any criminal case together from the outset.
Direct contact. Clear responsibility. No unnecessary layers.
At HAY LAW you have close contact with the lawyer responsible for your case. The same lawyer follows the case from the first assessment and through the further proceedings, also if the case goes to court.
Specialist counsel. Personal handling. The experience to carry the case all the way.
Practice areas
That is a deliberate choice.
Specialisation is a precondition for conducting complex cases. We therefore work within three areas, and do not take on matters outside them.
How we work
At HAY LAW you have direct contact with the lawyer responsible for your case. You are not passed between different staff members, and you do not have to explain the case anew every time you call.
The lawyer who knows the case follows it throughout the proceedings and is available when important decisions must be made.
Good counsel begins with a realistic assessment of the case.
We review the material thoroughly and tell you clearly where the case stands, what options exist, and what risks you should be aware of. You do not get long legal explanations without a conclusion, you get a clear basis for making the right decisions.
In complex cases, the first decisions can matter greatly to what follows.
That is why we look beyond the next step. We assess the case as a whole and consider from the outset how it should be handled if it develops into an appeal, a criminal case or a court case.
The aim is for a clear strategy to lie behind the choices made along the way.
We advise in Danish, English and Arabic.
That means you can speak directly with your lawyer in the language you are most comfortable with, without unnecessary intermediaries. In complicated cases nuance can matter greatly, so we attach importance to both the case and the advice being understood correctly from the start.
